Small Business Development Center It is that time of year!!! Hurricane season The SBDC encourages small business owners to create a business continuity plan or disaster recovery plan to stay competitive and avoid long term interruption of business. Businesses must account for all disasters, both man-made and natural. Planning in advance and accessing the situation all lead to a return to business as usual in the least amount of time. The CFDC has developed a disaster plan website at http://www.cfdc.org/home/links/disaster-plan.aspx that is provided as a tool for continuity planning. The SBDC is scheduling business continuity training and review to improve the likelihood that small businesses will survive and recover. A small business disaster plan hotline has been created to provide a communications link of information to small businesses in the event of a disaster. This hotline (863.534.6980 or 1.866.731.6586 toll free) will also serve as a resource to the SBDC to create a database of the challenges small businesses experience during a disaster.

The SBDC Office will be closed
